The street by the Marine is flooded all the way out to Laguna shores.

Water in my backyard is rising

Well, there are no liars on your bench. Did you try to castnet some menhaden?

Hope you get it back on soon! Hopefully you and the rest will have minimal damage. If you need anything let me know. I lost just about everything I owned in Harvey and understand the heartbreak folks are dealing with!

Power still not back. It's 4:30. That was 24 hours. Another problem is a generator I bought from harbor freight last year and just unpacked it the first time is not getting power to the plugs. So stuff in my freezer starting to thaw. Not a good things.

Just re-started my old 1980 Honda generator. Took a while. And realizing which way the fuel cutoff was supposed to turn to make it flow.

pulled plug, seemed like no spark, but was fuel not being "full enough". Finally resorted to some ether and got it to run. Ran it 30 minutes with a heater on it. Then power came back on.

Thats not good! How bad are things I havent really heard much. If it's going to be a long term deal I'll get one in here in Houston and head your way.

Thanks for the offer deputydawg. Hopefully it will be back on before things get too bad. If everything thaws we'll just have to have a big fish fry with some social distancing

AEP started right after daylight testing the legs and turning them up starting at SPID and working both ways. At Waldron and Mediterranean mine came up around noon so they're working your way.

We got word that the power was restored to Samoa at around noon. Hopefully they get you cranked up Zia if not already.
