So, since I don't drive a 'vehical', does this mean I'm free to go down the beach????

(Come on, Nueces Co., This is the best you got??? This wasn't just one sign, but put up in multiple Access Rds. Sad.......).

Literally ROFLMFAO

This is what you get when you pay your 'undocumented' park workers $10/hr to paint the barricades, Karen. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

CS, based on that sign, I'd say you're completely legal. If an officer challenges you, show them this picture and watch the tears as they laugh.

Just seen another beach barricade on channel 6 news, just like this pic posted here. "Vehicals". I guess the China flu has the parkdale library shut down, you know. That's where the literacy council works out of. Just saying.......cC

Did you ever see a sign painter that could spell? Decades ago, we were at Odessa Raceway Park, parked by a sign that said "NO PAPKING"! Of course, we had to steal it and put it on our garage wall. You can't make this SH^T up! And when you couldn't get your Virgin Islands driver's license picture taken, because they didn't have any FLIM!

As of yesterday, yes. The north access rd. by the sticks was open, and the gap at the bollards headed north at the limit of the park was chained closed. PINS itself was still open, as I had some friends make a trek down to the 19 or so. Still brown water and cold, and only hardheads, but they said it was good to be on the sand (old friends from Orange Grove).

Monkey see, monkey do! Rockport is closing the Beach Park Road, and boat ramp, to vehicular traffic, Sunday at midnight, until Aug. 1. One can park outside and walk in, so what does that accomplish? And, why give the visiting sickies Saturday and Sunday to mingle and infect each other? Didn't they learn anything from Memorial Day weekend?

Logic does not apply, apparently. ...TexasJim...

They want to get that tourist money one last weekend before shutting down. I'm sure there are a lot of businesses afraid once it shuts down it might be for the rest of the summer. Which is very probable as I don't see any way the number of cases is going to drastically change in the next few weeks, and even if it did they would point to the decrease and say " see shutting down is the only way".
