To all fellow Site members I ask that you fly the flag on the 4th. It is the symbol of Freedom. If someone needs to stomp, spit or burn it that is their right.
However, they do not think of the veteran that gave them that right.
There is so very much loud noise about being wronged or I want my way.
IMO just a bunch of talk.
Until you have faced the devil armed with an automatic weapon trying to kill you and your only choice was to put him down you might want to rethink your screaming and cause.
Like I said it is the flag of freedom I will honor it always.
And only kneel to pray or return fire. Which I hope never to do again.
God bless America

Absolutely, mine has been up since the crack of dawn. All join in. I give thanks every morning when I get up that we are so blessed to live in part of of the USA that believes in the true values and freedoms that we afford that was given to us by our ancestors and or forefathers that gave so much. I pray for our nation, especially for the parts of our country that lives in strife and anger. And for those that disrespect our freedoms, our flag for what it truly stands for and those that are intent to ruin our country.

Good post, sinker. Been having mine fly all weekend. If someone wants to kneel in protest that is fine. That is your right. But save that for before or after that anthem. Respect your flag, country and what it stands for. And then protest all you want.

I'll be kneeling during the anthem today, fist raised in the air in acknowledgement that while my country's founding fathers fought to give me freedoms, for the ancestors of many others in this great country, it took a hundred years or more to gain those same freedoms, and they are still facing an uphill battle today. And if that makes you uncomfortable, good. It should.

Happy Independence Day everyone!

No. What it does is make it quite obvious to all veterans that you have never served anything or anyone other than your own selfish desires.

Thanks. Your ignorance and lack of self-awareness is duly noted. You also are in a pod.
