Any recommendations for a flounder gigging guide. A busy and I are wanting to take our boys out for a fun (and easy, no walking all night) going after some flatties.

I've not gigged flounder in a while, but if I remember correctly you need to coordinate with the moon and tide. Seems, if the moon is out early and the incoming tide is late then it's going to be much later in the night before you find the flounder. Something like that! Cool BTW, there is a guide who writes in the local fishing mag, "Saltwater Angler", and his articles are generally near the rear of the mag.

Straight To The Point

Stephen is a really good guy and heck of a fisherman. He's a father of three boys and a new baby girl so he knows how to make sure the kids have a great time.

He used to post on the site all the time under the name rippin lips. Do a search and look at some of his pictures. He really did seem to know where the flounder were at different times of the year.
