Went out Saturday afternoon with my son and one of his buds from school
Left out of BL due to Spring Break traffic on the Causeway.
Water looked surprisingly good for 3:00 pm
Caught 5 trout, 2 dinks, 2 keepers and one 20" all released

Moved up by the causeway looking for reds and drum, made one drift south and one drift north, water looked terrible so went back down south and by then water was bad down there too...

Called it a day

That's more fish than I've heard a lot of people catching these days. Water was pretty trashed out today when I went out

It's encouraging you guys are catching, and I know the changing wind doesn't help at all, much less the effects of the February freeze. From all of the bait kill we witnessed I would imagine the fish which survived are more hungry then normal?

I usually never leave fish to find fish, but in this case, didn't want to keep sticking hooks in fish we weren't going to keep.
Was using shrimp by the way...
