Hi everyone, new to this forum. My name is Capt. Alan & I am a full time fishing guide on Galveston Bay. I know this is a Corpus fishing forum, but for those of you that would like to hear what's going on down here, I will try to post a report on here from time to time.
As for fishing right now it has been excellent when we haven't had a 20-30mph wind blowing. We have had another windy spring in 2019 and I am looking forward to the summer months. Now on the good weather days we have been catching limits or near limits of speckled trout and a few reds. I am using live shrimp under a popping cork for my best results, but I will be trying some live croaker here soon. I have been moving back and forth from West bay to East Bay over the past 2 weeks because of the wind. It is pretty simple this time of the year, if we have good weather we have good fishing. Nice to be a part of this forum and I will post again soon. Until next time, see you on the water.

Welcome, Capt. Alan! We have members from all over and that fish all over so don't feel out of place. We too have had a windy spring, but then, wind is the middle name that was left out of Corpus Christi. Rolling Eyes We'd love to hear the reports from the 'upper half' too so don't be shy. Wink
