Too windy to fish so yesterday I was casting for some bait to feed my resident crane, who I named Frazier, and I got a net full of these little guys.
decided it was time to bring out my l'il fishies soft plastics and my shadpoles. You know like they say match the hatch. Casting them into the lights I was catching two trout at a time and also got an 18" red. The jig heads I'm using are about 1/64 ounce.
after catching a few they would scatter away from the lights and I'd have to go jump in the hot tub for a while and sip some wine. Then come back and get some more. None of the trout were keepers but it was all a blast on ultra-light tackle |
