Just for the fun of it, what excuses have you given for not catching? Not sure if I have heard it all. The tide was too high, water was too clear, it was too windy, too much boat traffic, wrong time of the moon, wrong color of lure, wrong bait, too much slack in my line, I fell in and it ruined my day... Laughing

I have to work or honeydos around the house. Lol
When your terrible at catching, you don't have to make excuses, so, I fish good, but terrible at catching. Lol
I just go to get out of the house and have some fun.

I'm back

You should have been here yesterday. Fish got lockjaw, the bait shop was out of (fill in the blank), I partied too much last night. I slept in and missed the morning bite. My buddy wouldn't stop talking. The weatherman was wrong again.

Love the "you should have been here yesterday", I've used that as a catch phrase for years. After a stellar day, I called my brother and said, I finally got here on a yesterday, he was confused until I drew him a picture with crayons.

Last time out on PINS in the first 15 min
1st hookup got off in the waters edge couldnt tell what it was
2nd hookup got of leaving the waters edge was a nice rat red
3rd hook up I reeled hard and ran backwards to get it away from the water and when I stopped reeling the hook fell out of his mouth.

Dull hook

never had to, always catch something
But if you do catch one of these, there's a Caribe curse you can blame that you won't catch anything else for the day

not that it works, but you can still blame it

And then we have the superstitious category. As in I'm jinxed. I left my lucky this or that at home. And the biggest one of all: BANANAS!!!! Shocked

What about Trouble with a capital T. Boat trouble, trailer trouble, truck trouble, WIFE trouble. Life just gets in the way.
