Recently joined the YWCA to get this old body back in some kind of shape and get it ready for softball season. Got home around noon and it was just too awesome a day to sit around the house and either work or do nothing. Jumped in the boat and hit the water. Lots of dinks still out there but once again if you work the bait slow on the bottom there are keepers. Got this 18" along with his twin brother and six smaller keepers.
Funny thing about the bite today was that if I was jigging my chartreuse sand eel in the up-and-down motion I would catch mainly dinks. If I would let it sink and drag it along the bottom I would catch more keeper size trout.
I'm sure CS will triangulate this picture to figure out where I was. No big secret, my 3 minute honey hole. |

DONE!! But like I promised before, I'm not telling.
(But I did like the half-gloves for handling the fish!) |

| Those gloves do two things. Safer on the fish on Catch and Release and also lets me get my lure back in the water a lot quicker without having to rinse off my hands |
