I have not seen any recent posts on the progress of Yarborough Pass.
Does anyone have any updates?
How far is it from surfside to the other side at Yarborough?

Work has been suspended due to the rains and flooding on the road. No word on will it will resume. May be a while according to the long range weather forecast. Jeff Wolda

But how did you afford it? I really would like to buy Stan's boat, but I have no home to give it.

Sorry, none of my business really. Just trying to figure out how to beat the system. Laughing

I went through http://boatus.com to get the financing for mine. It was fairly simple to do and they will do longer terms for boat financing as well. May check it out if you're really interested.

If you were towboat, you'd bring your bike and a backpack and take a day trip... Very Happy

Coastal Flood Advisory. Now.
Water to the Dunes.
Logs abound on PINS, in the past few weeks.
Gub'Ment Shutdown.. Last month.

Likely, Zero work on the Pass, since this message first appeared. Cool

Wish I was more helpful. But Ranger Rick has his sights on other pressing issues.

From what I've been told, the materials to fix the road are in place and they should begin fixing it soon. They had to wait to see if the government was going to shut down again before starting. We also have the Big Shell Cleanup this weekend and it's all hands on deck from park staff helping us (which is awesome!!!) Hope to see y'all out there Saturday!! Jeff Wolda

Man, I am so glad that I didn't bid on the work after all. I figured the flooding/water to the dunes/isolation from any and all material would be the main issues with this construction process and really jack the price up but a government shut down never occurred to me.

Jeff, do you know who is doing the work?
