Big Fish and i went offshore on Wed morning started off a little slow but picked up as the day went on. hooked up with a couple of kings and a small ling. , ,

The bottom two ling were cauhgt on 5-16-07 and were two about 6(each) that we caught that day. we also lost two that were about this big. there were so many ling at one spot that we were picking and choosing which ones to cast to. Needless to say it was a great day on the water. , ,

Is that the 19 or the 21 Frontier?

How does it handle out there?

Which engine? What kind of performance numbers (top end, etc).

Nice fish...and nicer boat...I almost got one but hadn't seen enough around to get people's opinion on them.

Thanks
SQ

This is my buddy Big Fish's boat. It is the 19' with a 150hp Yamha 4 stroke. It is nice ride and everytime that i have been out it has handles pretty good. When i get ready to buy a boat this is the one that i am going to get well maybe the 21'. I'll get Big Fish to post the specifics on here.

Hey Shawn....
It is the 19 Frontier with a 150 4-stroke Yamaha. Runs like a champ regardless of the conditions. I have had it 30 miles offshore and it will run in 12", drift in 8", and get up in 20-24". Lots of storage and handles rough water superbly. It has a great front deck with room for 2 folks to fish (we bass fish at Choke a lot) and yesterday ( Father's Day) I had 6 people in it and was pulling folks kneeboarding, tubing, and skiing. I have no gripes with it and would definitely buy one again.

Is that one ling legal, they do have to be 37" to be legal. The others are awesome fish. Way to go!

It was right at 38" so we barely made it....funny thing is the trip before when we caught the big ones we were actually pulling our bait away from the "smaller" ones like that one...

Shawn...with my current 4 blade ss prop I top out at 46mph....I would definitely recommend getting trim tabs installed if you think about getting one as they do make one hell of a difference.
