[Jetty Rat]

headed out to the surf today to spend time with the family. Wasn't expecting anything nice according to swellinfo, but took some rods anyway. Didn't even try until some birds started working. Decided to give it try, and my first cast yielded a nice spanish. Didn't catch much after that, as the birds moved out of casting range. Saw a really nice jack landed down the beach as well. As we were leaving, we saw some birds closer in, second cast, and my dad got a nice 34 in red. Although it wasn't clear up close, it has definitely warmed up from a few weekends ago. Very small amounts of fresh weed rolling in, but there was a lot of dead weed in the water. Tight lines.
