We will be holding an informal memorial to honor "The Life and Times of Captain Billy L. Sandifer" on Sunday May 20th at 11am at the Briscoe King Pavilion just behind one of Billy's first treasured fishing locales, Bob Hall Pier. We invite Billy's friends and admirers to send in their favorite pictures of Billy and any interesting stories you'd like to share to info@friendsofpadre.com . If you would like to make a donation in memory of Billy, you can click on the Paypal "Donate" button on the home page at Friendsofpadre.com or send a check to PO Box 18108 Corpus Christi, TX 78418.

What about billy's family ? His wife, I really dont know much about any kids, etc. but are they ok financially? Is there something in place to help them ?

His wife will be fine. One of Billy's friends is helping her secure the rest of his VA pension so she should be ok. He and Joy didn't have any kids except for all of his boys like me a quite a few others who called him Dad.
