Mary picked our granddaughter Victoria up around noonish and after eating lunch she wanted to go out in the boat. I Rigged her up with a gulp under a popping Cork and I was throwing pink bass assassins. We wound up between us catching 25 to 30 trout with 12 of those being keepers. Told her that we were only going to keep one limit and she was fine with that. Maybe I have a catch and release granddaughter in the making. Two biggest trout were 20 and I also picked up at the end a 24-inch redfish. Pretty awesome day out and water especially being able to share it with my granddaughter.

Alright Tom, sounds like a nice casual outing with plenty action, good show. Looks like keeper ratio picked up too, would think it's about time to see some larger trout start showing up. And 5 keeper trout is a good bit of fish. Think I'll be cutting back on size and quantity of keepers this year, usually only eat fresh anyway, but that's a benefit of being able to fish anytime. Thanks for report.
