Last night our granddaughter Victoria came over and spend the night. She and Mary are not feeling too well and about 3 a.m. all three of us had to get up to use the restroom. I try to go back to sleep but the two of them were snorting sneezing coughing to the point where I couldn't get back to sleep. Finally about 4 I heard the newspaper being delivered and I got up made some coffee and read a newspaper. After breakfast about 10 a.m. we all drove over to North Beach so I can take some batting practice for the softball team I'm on. Mary and Victoria took the truck and went over to the Lexington and walked around that area while I practice. After practice I took the two of them over to the Home and Garden Show and then we took Victoria, who loves Asian Cuisine, to the Museum of Asian Cultures where She was able to get her fill of broccoli beef and steamed rice. After dropping her off Mary informs me that she told her friends, who get together to watch The Voice every week, that I would Supply them fish so they can have fish tacos at there Friday planning meeting. So being a good husband that I am I jumped in the boat when we got back so I can do my husbandly duties and catch some fish. I let her come in and go to sleep and try to get over the cold she has. Fished here and there, no big concentrations of fish anywhere but I did wind up catching 7 keeper specs and one sand trout. I threw various color soft Plastics and even some hard plastic slow sinking baits. Three of the biggest trout were either a shade under or over 18".The big girls are starting to come back.

Alright Tom, good job. Always a good idea to keep the 'women folk' well fed, and that'll do it. Think I'll get out this week and try to do some 'husbandly duties' too. Thanks for report.

Went out again today and from 10 until about noon bite was slow, slow, slow! Winds picked up sun came out and fish started biting. Caught a total of 8 trout up to 19 inch and a 22-inch red. A couple neighbors came by and drifted the same area and picked up another 6 keeperr trout. Also floated across a school of drum but I didn't try to catch any of those. I should have taken a picture of the red but I didn't think about it until after I released it. It was a pretty deep copper color with eight spots.
