I have used my personal guide of not surf fishing when the water temperature drops below 60 degrees. But I value the opinion of more seasoned surf fisher person on that statement.
Kick that can around.
FYI we start our trek to NPI on Thursday so as I have stated previously, I will close the gate for cold weather at the border between Wyoming and Colorado with a detour sign sending it to Nebraska. Then later in the day close the gate between Colorado and Oklahoma with a sign to send any gate jumpers to Kansas. But I will not close the gate between Oklahoma and Texas because Oklahoma is during OK so far in the Rose Bowl.
