Here are a batch of fresh pics from both charters and of Alexis and my recent summer adventures on PINS. A beastly hammer and some tigers round up the bigger of the sharks. Both tiger sharks (one on this week's charter) were attached with a satellite tag to be tracked via Ocearch. A wide array of fish and wildlife from deer to turtles to a beach badger (dead).

While right this minute it is mostly BIG shark (at night) or pretty much nothing on PINS, action will quickly escalate when the anchovies start moving closer and closer to the beach in the next couple/few weeks. Things will be going bonkers so get ready! Trips are fun for everyone from the most serious of anglers to families with young eager kids with the thirst for adventure! Get your trip booked now for the killer fall run! Some spots are still available for Sept-Nov, and some weekdays are still left in late August. I do book up in advance so get in contact soon.

Remember, for charter info - if you want the best in Padre Surf Fishing, contact either myself at Ocean Epics for Shark and Big Game, or Jeff Wolda at Padre Island ADVENTURES for trout, red, and jack action on light tackle! Feel free to email/text in regards to trips.

Have a fantastic late summer/early fall and enjoy just some of the photos from the past couple of months!

It's amazing what you catch, and what you see, in the surf. GREAT report!

I love it when talented people are willing to take good camera gear into a harsh environment. Thanks for sharing!

Very cool pics. I didn't even know badgers existed on the island.
