I have known manager, Tim Duncan, for over 15 years. He's a retired oil and gas guy who became a guide then a fly fishing wizard and again back into managing, this time fishing related stuff.
This brand new facility will soon have bait and tackle but now they have incredible dry storage service with wash, fuel, and launch all available.
Check the rates. Just head down Waldron in the Bluff towards NAS and turn right on Jester till you see the water and the brand new building!

Is there a boat ramp there? If so are they open? I went by last week and it looked closed
And of course.... thanks for helping keep this site alive! _________________ Great captains, the stuff of legend, are made not by what they have caught, but by what they have given back. |

| prices are actually reasonable considering the service involved. and the fact your boat is stored indoors, not in a slip over the water. |

| I stopped by and learned the ramp and services are only available to those keeping their boat stored there. The boats are actually stored by the marina personnel and retrieved by them, as well. However, what I saw was impressive from the standpoint of quality construction and onsite security, it's just not a place those of us keeping our boats at home, and not at their facility are going to be frequenting. |

Oh ok. Man, that's kinda unfortunate. I agree, without a public ramp its not somewhere I'll frequent. I would be interested in a yearly or monthly boat ramp usage fee if that was something that was offered. _________________ Great captains, the stuff of legend, are made not by what they have caught, but by what they have given back. |

| That might be the smallest boat ramp I have ever seen. |

That's not a bad idea! As I said it is still a work in progress with the dredge going inside there but looks to be a neat operation to show up and go with your boat gassed up and waiting at the dock. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |
