It's been almost two weeks since the 17th Annual Shallow Sport Boat Owners Tournament held on South Padre Island at Louie's Backyard. As usual we did not win a thing but we had a blast off four days (Thursday-Sunday).
SSB gave away, this year, $20,000 in scholarships, $30,000 in door prizes, and a brand new SS Boat valued at $60,000. That's $110,000 given away this year alone.
Wonder why I support SSB so much....they make a great product and they give back.
Thanks; Wes & Kyra, and Rex & Connie Hudson, you guys are awesome.
See you next year.

I received the invite and thought about it. I have talked to so many people that state how much of a good time it is. I'm really going to try and go next year. It's cool how I bought my SS from a private seller last year and still received an invite. I guess SS gets a list generated by registration with TPWD.

There's nothing really like them for the flats either. Great boats that can cover a lot of conditions and get you in and out of a lot of shallow water.

I don't own one, but have always appreciated the SS design and build. I especially appreciate their participation with CCA, and will consider one if I ever buy another rig.
