Going to be coming down second week of July with the family and want to try some gigging. Going to be in the Aransas Pass area and I am looking for a guide. Did a google search and looks like there are several to choose from. Anyone have any recommendations? Going to bring my 10 year old so they will need to be kid friendly. Saw on a few websites that some of the guides prefer only kids 12yrs or older.

Go with Redfish Rick if you thinking about the rockport area. Im sure any of the others will do you right as well. That time of year they should be able to find some flatties.

This should be on everyone's buck list for this summer.. why wait, it's a cool experience and worth doing at least once.

Straight to the point guide service would be my recommendation. He's been a long time forum member since before he was a guide and awesome local guy. Haven't heard from him on here in a while so he must be busy gigging flatties.
