Have been waiting over 6 weeks for a chance to fish, but the blow just wont slack. So, that always brings me back to my Fishing library, after I have serviced all my reels .
Three of these are by Van Campen Heilner know as the first author of Surf Fishing. The first was "The Call Of The Surf" in1920. In 1922 he published "Adventures In Angling". He also wrote for Field and Stream Magazine, then in 1954 he wrote the lengthy "Salt Water Fishing. All great books, I really like his style of writing with those old school word and phrases. Here are some photos of what I have. Whats in your library

Love your collection Saltyhook, I have a few of those. Makes me wonder what my family will do with them when I'm no longer here.

Thursday, the winds are forecast to be the lowest 9 mph for the next few days, good luck! Nice collection.
