| hey guys making a trip to corpus in my brother in laws little j16skiff thinking about fishing that marsh area near shamrock cove to possibly sight cast.. havent been there in a year how has that area been lately? any other genral area to consider? we will be throwing top waters and soft plastics.. any info or tip would be helpful.. thanks. |

| I fished it last Tuesday with my wife and kiddos. Water was off colored and we only manage undersized trout and reds. Of course I was not fishing but manning the lines for my kiddos (2yo, and 6yo) and wife so my efforts were somewhat limited. The wind has been howling so I would guess its still muddied up. I would try some of the protected areas back there. |
