A softball buddy was on spring break this week from teaching, and asked me to take him fishing. Went out today about 9 and hit my usual Spots, as well as a few others. Trout bite was crazy, albeit most were dinks. Threw soft plastics in various colors, all of which worked. This was my share of the catch.
A couple other friends were fishing the same areas using live shrimp under a cork and did not catch a keeper.
Did not find any reds today like IMS did. After cleaning Fish and drinking a few beers my neighbor was looking for company to join him fishing. Being the good neighbor I am I forced myself to tag along. A double limit of trout and w reds later, all C and R, we finally called it a day. Great day today. |

The two fish masters are back at it....
I have been catching more keeper trout up here in the Laguna as well.
Slot drum are still biting down south along the ICW. |
