Decided to brave it and go to Packery today. Was gonna get live shrimp but forgot to go to red dot or Cos way, so we picked up some dead shrimp and mullet and headed to the jetties. Used dead shrimp and mullet and only got trash fish. I got a decent hit on a mirrodine, but nothing after that. Saw on guy who caught a few sheepheads on live shrimp ( the one day we forgot them) and a few sand trout. Over all pretty slow. Suprisingly the jetties were not packed at all either. Decided to fish closer in near the bridge. threw gulps under corks, on the bottom, and some paddletails- nothing except for a few small hits. I some people under the bridge caught two trout, one of which had to be at least 22-25 inches they were getting them on live shrimp ( of course). The family wants to go to the beach tommorow, so might do some fishing there

Thanks for the report! I was thinking about a sheepshead run out there as they have been thick recently.
