Snuck in as the cold front died down and fished yesterday. Took off about 930 and putted into CC bay through the thick fog. Visibility was very low, less than 100 yards and honestly I did not like one minute of the drive out. Slow and steady about 20 mph constantly checking GPS and visuals to make sure no one was coming or nothing was going to be in the way.

Fished metal deep structure in the middle of CC bay to start and double limited out on speckled trout in less than 45 minutes. They were eating up free lined live shrimp like it was candy. Caught several keepers in back to back cast ended up tossing back anything less than 16. Caught one undersized sheepshead, as well as a couple of sand trout. Moved on to fish the boat hole area and found several more sand trout as well as a couple of large whiting fishing free lined shrimp in 5-6 feet of water, kept a couple of the larger bonus fish for a Christmas fish fry. Trout are filling up the canals also, caught several undersize trout on a silver spoon yesterday morning before my conference call at 8am, nothing big but its great to feel the tug on the end of the line! Great winter fishing!

Hey, great job. You did much better than I did. I caught every undersized trout around. But it was fun.
