Art passed away this morning at 0549 peacefully. He was a great neighbor, friend, and father. He was a retired SGT. Major and did some tours in Vietnam with the US ARMY. Many know him from fish fries at my house. He will be greatly missed. Hand salute...

Having spent a few years in the army, sgt majors always commanded my attention and respect-- I would imagine he now has a battalion of angels for which he is responsible. RIP.
