Around noon, the birds are thick and the small fish are washing in, in mass..... Mainly pinfish, some small mullet, not many game fish.

But still...... Curse you 'Organism Who Shall Not Be Named"...... Crying or Very sad

I saw that this morning around 9:00a looked like most of the floating fish I saw were around the Exxon boat ramp north to the Humble Bridge.
That's too bad. I'm afraid a cool front might push more red tide in from C.C Bay.

Saw the birds working on my way back from gassing up at HEB. Didn't think about dead fish. That's a real bummer. Heading back to New Jersey for my mom's funeral and hoping that by time I get back things will be better.

Noticed a couple dead pin perch lying on the bottom 10/14 while making a drift in front of my street. We did not see any floaters that morning. However the birds were working. They started working on 10/13. That must be when the fish started getting sick, in my area to be exact. Yes a good North wind will make a river of dead floaters across cc bay and across the backyard.

Was hoping that the red tide would stay out of the Laguna Madre. Just shows you don't get everything you hope for.
Zia - have a safe trip back to New Jersey. Sad for the reason for the trip but hope that you enjoy yourselves as much as possible.

I've been wanting to hit the surf sometime this year. Hope the stuff stays away from the beach.

My condolences Tom.
