I am looking to buy some type of GPS unit as to where I can enter coordinates and it can send me to the waypoint. I want one that is portable so I am asking, does anyone on here have a unit that is portable and not break the bank? It will not be used just a whole lot but would like to have one to mark some points. I have some people that will give me coordinates, just need to have the equipment to use them.

Thank you

GPS paths are straight line unless you create your own path. You can't just put in a waypoint, and drive directly to it, unless you know your way around. just FYI.

you can download an app called navionics for around $15 to an iphone, or android phone.

I have a handheld iFinder GPS + WAAS Receiver by Lowrance. Takes 2 AA batteries, and has a 12 Volt cigarette plug adapter. Says "Waterprooof" on cover. Has a FHSP-S "286 Premier Lakes" Southern US Fishing Hot Spots map card inside.

I was going to use it on a kayak, but never used it. $50 in Flour Bluff

here are some on Ebay:
