The brown, nasty water is making yet another encore performance, even though it's way past the normal summer upwelling period. Not a huge temp drop-off, but the past few days have gone down without the benefit of any major cold front.

Most telling was when I left the beach earlier, my flip-flop is sticking to the bottom of my foot because of a stinkin' TAR!!!

better than the bayfront. I was downtown a little while ago, and there are some huge patches of red tide along the sea wall.

heck, it's 90+ and haven't had but one decent norther so far...
and it didn't last long...

Fish the surf yesterday morning and it was nothing but hard heads. No mullet to speak of in the surf. When I was leaving the beach about 11 a.m. tides were coming in real strong and pushing up to the dunes

Get used to it. With a La Nina forming, cold fronts will get fewer and fewer.
