The winds have been a steady 7mph since I got up and made a pot of Dunking doughnuts blend coffee this morning. Looks to be another great day of fishing for all who are enjoying the weekend. There are a few showers on the radar this morning. I'm going down to the surf later to visit with my Granddaughter and daughter, and my #1 son-in-law. The Pomp reports were pretty good yesterday but they were running about 8" in size, a little on the small side for me but one guy posted up a basket full on the Pompfest FB page. So I got some fresh fishy bites and a rod ready togo maybe I will catch a big Pomp. Report later.....IMS.

Like I reported on my FB page ( stan gordon ) ......Pomp after Pomp after Pomp but they were only 8 inches just abit to small for me. They were all released. A friend of mine stated perfect Asian size, I'm thinking too big for that. Very Happy This winter I will do some camping with Johnny Reb down South and get the big Pomps. Aside from everything that the little gal in that pic beats any fish anywhere. That is Aurora IMS'S Granddaughter, and my daughter Victoria.

Fished the Back Yard today from 10-1. One dink trout. Water clarity is great. Floating grass is somewhat problematic but tolerable.

Nice pomp!
