Just got back from a non-fishing Island tour from SFP jetty (Mustang Island State Park) to BHP. High tides appear to have been to the base of the dunes and receded in almost areas toured EXCEPT for GROOMED beach areas where there is a stretch of standing water between the dunes and the shore. N & S Packery beaches especially. Hmmm - wonder why? Two-three rows of max waist high lined up waves and water looks good. Once that storm swell drops, surf fishing should light up. Maybe some pomps again? _________________ HooYah!
