Just had a guy at the plant I work at get vibrio last week. He wades a lot by Pringle and Conti. It's out there. Be safe.

thanks for the update.
i know the media blows this poo poo up. but it is great to know when/where this is high concentrations to cause problems. not just the potential but high probability.

You can subscribe and choose what areas you want updates for. This is for bacteria levels in general, not vibrio specifically.
Since I subscribed 2-3 months ago, this is the first "High" reading I've seen, that's why I posted it. |

These readings are for fecal bacteria only. Anytime we get enough rain to flush the storm drains you'll see high counts at many/most of the stations. The ones in CC Bay, Oso Bay, and the Laguna almost always spike after a rain. It usually takes 2-3 days for levels to return to normal.
