Just had a guy at the plant I work at get vibrio last week. He wades a lot by Pringle and Conti. It's out there. Be safe.

thanks for the update.
i know the media blows this poo poo up. but it is great to know when/where this is high concentrations to cause problems. not just the potential but high probability. _________________ Fish and Hunt Baby.... so tight lines and clear scopes. |

You can subscribe and choose what areas you want updates for. This is for bacteria levels in general, not vibrio specifically.
Since I subscribed 2-3 months ago, this is the first "High" reading I've seen, that's why I posted it. |

These readings are for fecal bacteria only. Anytime we get enough rain to flush the storm drains you'll see high counts at many/most of the stations. The ones in CC Bay, Oso Bay, and the Laguna almost always spike after a rain. It usually takes 2-3 days for levels to return to normal. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |
