Hit the beach again Thursday. A totally crazy west wind was gently making it's way at about 3 mph directly offshore. With seas at 1 ft or less....what a day!!!

But first...thank you Cummins with manual transmission! Half a tank after this week's zodiac and trailer PINS trip all the way from the station at Whitecap to Mansfield Jetties and up and down the beach a bit, then back home. And only used half??!! Very Happy Loving it!

Launching the boat in this was quite a riot!

Just a LITTLE flat!

And soon....spadefish galore!!!

First cast brought me a 49 inch King on topwater....
But I was ONLY after dinner this day!

LOTS of dinner!!!

The water was hot and getting hotter though....

I hit a few other locations and finally did some trolling.

Ribbons n snapper slappers!!!!

All in all it was the most beautifully flat and clear water day I've seen on Island in summer in a long while. But deader than a doornail in all that heat! No tarpon, no more kings, and no trolling knockdowns! I need to get after some spades one of these days for dinner! But it was a great day nevertheless! Cool Ya'll stay cool and have a great holiday weekend.
