Just thought I would share this cool photo of my Grandpa (Don Funk). He is in the center of the picture with a white towel. He was a teacher at Ray high school in the '60's and 70's. He received an award for the most feared teacher. During his summer vacation and on weekends he was a Park Ranger on PINS. I miss the days when he had a cabin on the Laguna Madre. Cabin 1303 which he shared with a man named Jim Fisher. Anyhow, I just thought I would share this photo.

I knew your grandpa/grandma and their kids Donna (RIP), Chuck, Judy and Kerry very well since we all lived in Peary Place. He spurred my early interest in marine biology which led to me becoming certified in SCUBA @ age 14 and future Navy "diver" adventures. He was a great man.

Thank you for sharing that PanamaYak. Chuck is my Dad. They are the reason why I have such a deep love for the water. Grandpa passed in 2000 and Grandma passed in 2014.
