And we thought last time was a bunch of hair. Brie the groomer goddess at Petco took these pictures of Baron our soon to be 3 yr old Bernese Mt. Dog. Baron in the grooming stall. That ball she's got in the towel isn't a dog, it's five pounds of wet hair

Yogi sheds year round so we are constantly brushing him. The 2 full blooded Chows shed twice a year. You have to not mind the hair in the house. We vacuum everyday. It's just a hairy situation. I bathe my own dogs and groom the best I can. I would go go broke taking all 3 to a groomer.

2 words, Tyler- masking tape. 4 words- contractor's pack.

Dog for dog, you got me (course, it would take about 3 or 4 Eskies to equal a BMD). On the other hand, we have 2 Eskies left out of 6. I would groom dogs every day for the rest of my life for one more day.
Our Boston Chiweenie out-sheds everyone put together.

IMS- home groomer here, too. lol I feel broke just thinkin about it.

I have a Welsh terrier and a Yorkshire terrier. Neither of them sheds. We never have a problem with dog hair.

Glad all that hair didn't come off at one time in the back of your new truck Tyler. Laughing

My affenpinscher doesn't shed. My slick haired blue lacey/border collie cross sheds and sheds and sheds and sheds....should just throw it all in the attic and call it good insulation.

I have a stray that wondered up to our property/camp that I reluctantly took home. Now he is my partner and goes everywhere with me. He sheds about like that. Mine is more house dog than outside and we can sweep up 1/2-3/4 of pillow case of hair per day...its crazy how much hair he produces/sheds. My last pickup had dark grey velour seats. I had to buy seat covers when I traded it in and pray they did not look under the covers and see all the dog hair. I bought my new truck all vinyl in large part for him. If he was not such a damn good dog I would have gotten rid of him along time ago. I am not sure what breed mix he is, but he is one those once in lifetime dogs you get and now he is a little spoiled.

That ball of hair is bigger and weighs about the same as my dog!
Course he's only about 8-9 weeks old.

I have two Labs. The chocolate sheds very little and what he does shed lays flat on the ground like straw. The yellow lab, on the other hand, sheds copious amounts that fly around like tumble weeds and get on and in everything. Same breed. Totally different shedding characteristics.

My two labs only shed once, they start Jan. 1 and finish Dec. 31. We sweep up "new puppies" on a regular basis. Wouldn't have it any other way.

We have a Rott the sheds unreal amount of fur year round. With the amount he sheds a person would think he should be bald. The best tool i have found is the http://www.furminator.com/

My carolina dog Huyana blows her coat twice a year and then just general shedding. I have roving tumbleweeds of fur in early spring and again in November. I feel so bad because it looks like she hasn't been groomed, but that inner coat just explodes and comes out in chunks when we start hitting 90 degrees, and then again when it hits about 40 her summer inner coat falls out and the winter one grows back in.

And how fluffy her winter coat is. This was right before my dog blew up and I had wandering puppies (tumbleweeds of fur the size of small dogs) blowing through my house every day.
