Anybody know of anyone who installs the bolts around your home Windows where you just put the plywood on them and secure with a wingnut

Pretty easy to do yourself. Use a 1/4" x ? (thickness of plywood + washer +
wing nut for length) Hanger bolt for wood siding on your house.
If you have brick or masonry use a 1/4 X ? wedge anchor (again add thickness of wood, washer & nut)
I used a 1/4" x 3" in both cases for my home I also used stainless steel bolts nuts and washers.

Interesting subject! Has anyone come up with a safe/pleasant looking way to cover them, so someone does not get hurt or catch clothing, etc. on those located two to three feet off the ground or deck?

They have a kit at Lowes or Homedepot that has the bolts that are threaded wood screws on one end and std.bolt threads on the other for wood frames. They come in stainless steel so all you have to do is put them in and leave them. They have other kits with anchors for masonry trims. Since I have Hardie panel trim I would have to use the masonry type. They also have other kits with other types of fastening hardware. I have all my plywood cut but have not installed any anchors yet.
