You bet you back I might have been one of the idiots you all hate during the holidays. My kids earned a beach trip with all A's and a few B's. The wife looked like she was about to snap. Salt water is the only reward and cure for this accomplishments/ailments.

Crowded does not explain what saw this year. The herds of flesh, testosterone, and general disregard from the Younger generation was rampant.

Hit Charlies pasture early AM sat. Sand trout and dink specks a plenty. I had my oldest son. We had a blast. Were gonna hit the south jetty. Still just to much wind for a little guy. Cork and shrimp paid dividends.

Surf was blown out Saturday and we were ran off from fishing by lightning sat night. Sunday family day but did get a rod in the surf. Ran a custom fish finer leader I make and fresh dead pin perch. We produced 2 big ladies and it shut down. We were at marker 101.

So goes it. Hopefully will be back soon for a all guys fishing/camping trip. Came back to Kerrville to see an enormous amount a flod damage. Our creek in the back yard could match the summer flow of the Guadalupe during a standard summer day. Had a good friend in Bandera that lost 2 vehicles and almost his house.

Stay safe out there and can't wait to come bother you all again.

Glad to hear that the family had a nice get away despite the large obnoxious crowds. Had some tight lines during your break as well. That had to be nice.
Enjoyed your detailed report and look forward to your next report from the "guys" weekend.

Thanks SS. I have been fishing down there since I was 7 seriously since I was 19, and learning how to do it right since I was 37. Im 39 now and still feel like a pup under his first gun. Most days still leave me A*& in hand.

As a bank fisher man to broke for a boat with 3 children. I have to plan for what I can, be more than okay to relocate when there is change, and spare every penny I can to get me there.

My uncle lived in Rockport for a number of years. I abused the open door policy every chance I had. For 19 until I was 25 I had mail in both west Texas and there. Both being Mason's we had a fantastically great time with our fellow man.

I just hope one day I can talk one of you guys on to my boat and show me the bays from an old salts eyes. I am very much like Tow Boat when it comes to his affinity with the Islands and Laguna. I get excited about those type of possibilities every day.

Will post up a hopefully successful trip before too long. Adios

That would be better than being able to access the other 90% of the brain they say we cant use. I sure will keep that in mind. Some how, way, or divine stroke of luck. I will be there one of these days on a permanent basis. I've said this since I was 15.

Can't wait to sit down at say Billings or and marina for that matter in the morning and have coffee then run out fishing for a bit.

Thank you for the kind offer!! Will take you up if I get the chance for sure.
