Just a quick bit of advise some of you may know some of you may not. I just mowed my yard and the skeeters were out of control by the hundreds. This morning I picked up some Cutter yard spray that hooks up to the garden hose and hosed my yard down. I have been walking around with shorts on since and there are zero mosquitoes. I'll see how long it lasts. Right now I'm sold on it completely. Just a friendly tip from IMS.

I have been using it for some time now. It works awesome, but rain will wipe it out and you will have to re-apply. Still well worth it.

They were so bad after I moved the other day that you literally heard them when you walked in the back yard. Not just an annoying [buzzzzz], but a low, LOUD roar of thousands of skeeters. A veritable black cloud!

Did the Cutter spray thing also, and it helped. Not in shorts just yet, but not being carried away either. Wink

Played 9 holes of golf on the Island after work yesterday and that was the worst I have ever witnessed mosquitoes, in terms of numbers. A thick layer of Repel lasted about 6 holes and then I became a blood donor.

I missed the perfect picture yesterday in my shop. I had lit one of them no bug candles that come in the small bucket made by Off....while the flame was burning a mosquito landed on the rim while the flame was burning and just sat there. By the time my brain kicked in to take a picture and the the time to get ready and focused it flew away. So I don't think them candle things really work. I think it just annoys them and makes them angry that's my opinion.

This stuff works awesome. Add some to a hose applicator and cover house, doors, plants, yard, rocks...... I reapply it every thursday and have no issues. I live up against wetland and have big terradactyls!

Must be that "bad water", there in Corpus Christi, breeding all them skeetere. Buying your own spray is similar to boiling water. Why is it that the city is doing nothing?
