With the awesome weather this weekend it was foolish not to go out on the water if you could help it. My wife has been working hard over the last couple of years turning into a real angler, and this weekend her hard work paid off. It's only her second time fishing BTB, but she has been BTB several times dropping shark baits in much worse conditions so I knew she would do just fine.

With in the first hour we both had good runs trolling dead horse mullet on a kingfish rig. My run ended up tearing through the 80lb Fluorcarbon leader that my kingfish rig was on, while my wife ended hauling in the catch of the day. She had another good run but it it was a 'grab and go' and didnt get hooked up. We could see tooth marks on the mullets head, lucky fish missed both trebles. All in all a great weekend!
