I finally got back onto the water after a long easter weekend and attempted to go on a scouting mission. my wife and i launched around noon at bird island. we headed to the grass line between the 185 flats the meadows and had intended to head down to donks island and then work back along the west side along krs. none of that worked out cause mother nature changed our minds with fog, wind and rain. it apears that the water wants to green up but just not quite getting there. i did get several reports of fish being caught early and quick and if you go later fish are their but you need to work at it a bit. i will get a much better report as the weekend approches. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!

Big northeast wind coming thursday and friday... going to keep it a little dirty at least but I never let water color bother me. Ya'll be careful out there with the wind changes and spring weather.

Look forward to your report.

Funny everyone is talking about dirty and even brown water but on the other side of the JFK the water is crystal clear.

I just got off the water. I went as far south as Baffin and the water looked
real good from Baffin all the way back to the bridge. Nice and green.
