| wife and i put in at jfk causeway ramp. just took a little cruise around the humble and along laguna shores rd this evening to check conditions. to me it looks like the water is in a little better shape than before the rain. the water level was pretty high. we saw some bait and a few trout hitting on top before sunset. wife threw out a gold glitter doa under popping cork and managed 3. I got 1 on doa bounced along bottom. the water temp in that area was 70.1* buy gps. guide i know who was his loading his boat. went out after morning rain in the ULM and had limit of trout. saw yaker close to jfk with 1 on stringer also. we were only out for bout 1hr and half an saw some good sign of life. im going out for real in the am so i will have a better report tomorrow. good luck to all |

| Also hit the water this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by how nice the water was. Trout bite was strong. Limit among about 25 caught in a little over an hour on various colors of soft plastics. |

Ill post a report later today. Trout bite down south was freaking insane from 1:30 - 4:30. Got pushed off the water by a storm cell. One of the better trout days I've had in a while. _________________
