take someone that knows about boats with you to look through it, or have an outboard mechanic/shop give it an inspection....it will be money well spent...

Thats alot of years but the hour meter may be on the low side. Did he take care of his boat? Do a compression check on the engine. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

If it's a FICHT engine I was told they had issues with the fuel system. I think I saw that boat on 2cool or craigslist. Correction - 1999 and 2000 200-hp and 225-hp Ficht Ram Injection engines could catch fire or explode _________________ Shallow Sportn' it |

Own a 2004 model 2150 with a 150 Johnson 2 stroke. Good battle tank.
Runs as shallow as I need. Nice wide beam with lots of fishing room.
Cons: it can be hard to handle at low speeds. It also is a heavy hull. Make
Sure and put a shallow blaster plate on the engine to get full use of the tunnel. I have had zero issues with the hull. I also highly recommend a sea
trial before you fork over the cash. If you have never driven one of these, you
may be surprised how they handle.... |
