I don't know how they keep finding me, but today while paddling an 18 mile loop offshore I ran into two Cobias asking to ride in the fishbag. First was a 47 incher and later on a 39 incher. These fish can be tough customers in a kayak, but I'm equipped with a Night-night stick and it works wonders on their bad attitudes when carefully applied to the forehead
Cobia steaks coming up!

| Wish I had a night night stick when I landed a cobia in my boat at the first rigs one time. The thrashing cobia and my lure were both attached to my thumb via a big treble hook. |

Very nice haul.
I got a nice the other day, had to gaff it green before line broke due to snagging on structure. I cut the handle off an old baseball bat and filled the 'donut' with lead. Shivers em every time. |
