I have a rocker switch to start an inboard and am having a hard time finding a new switch. No part number on it. Off/On/momentary on. All I can find are On/Off/momentary on. Anyone know if it would work? 4 poles are on the old switch.

CC Battery has/sells Cole-Hearse switches. Top of the line marine switches. Well worth it compared to what you will find at the local marine stores.

Have you tried electrical contact cleaner? Corrosion is bad enough on switches in fresh water. Down there.......... Shocked

I would not use a switch that had an ON position. If it ever got bumped accidentally, it would burn your starter motor if you didn't catch it.

I did a google search for 4 pole, momentary, rocker switch and almost 35,000 links displayed. Good luck.

The switch I have is a normally off/on/momentary on. It sends + power to the ignition circuit and then the mom on activates the starter only. once started the switch remains in the on (center) position. To shut down, there is a separate push button switch to shut it down. The switch I need acts like a master/starter switch if that makes sense.

you have a separate button to shut the starter down? I think you've overcomplicated your starter...all you need is hot, and a starter circuit to the solenoid....and here's a switch for $2.22 to do that....

The switch is a 3 position. all the way left is dead (ign off), center (ign on), right (start) I didn't build the boat, just trying to find the right replacement switch. I'd rather not make any more holes in the dash.

well, you won't believe this, but I was cleaning up a few things last night and ran across that exact switch, brand new in the package....I was going to use it on my old boat, but that's gone....you're welcome to it, free-fifty....pm me if youre interested in picking it up....
