Well everyone, thanks for the info last week on red tide affecting the BIB area. We still decided to launch there and fish the King ranch shoreline. Was on the water by 8:30 am. Worked our way south. Few minor coughs here and there but maybe just allergies. Dad caught his personal best 30 inch trout. CPRed. I also caught my personal best 27 inch trout an hour after his was caught. Kept mine. Ended the day with 2 keeper drum,5 slot reds and 1 30 inch red. And tons of rat reds and dink trout. Good trip and proud of my 68 yr old Pops on landing his trophy trout. Was a little thin weighing in at 7.52 lbs. Have a good one and God bless.
Here are the pictures!

That's great! Email the pics to me and I will post them. You don't see 30" and 27" trout that often. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

Tried to email pics tonight but don't find an email address to send photos. Sorry but I am very computer illiterate. Just and old fashioned out of the times guy. _________________ wishin i was fishin! |

Ok. Just sent the pics to Tyler's email. Gotta work late tonight. Hope the pics are posted today. Still excited from the great trip. Makes work a lot easier to bare after a good fishing trip. Wasn't quantity but was quality. Thanks Everyone. _________________ wishin i was fishin! |
