Went out today with my Dad to the super secret rigs in the bay. We found a lot of sand trout with a few specs mixed in for fun.

The surprise happened right as we were trying to leave. I hooked up on a freight train headed north toward another boat that was anchored near us. My little stradic 2500 loaded with 10# braid screamed until there were only a few wraps on the spool. Fought is for about another 15-20 minutes and up pops a healthy jack. About 15lbs. Fun on that little reel.
