Yeah, was thinking this Saturday thru Tuesday would be on fire with the new moon coming up and double tides...

But the recent "strong NE winds" aren't to "normal" for early September for sure Smile

I've been the past few days and caught a few rat reds while looking for mangroves. Nothing on live mullet and perch when I fished deeper in the channel. Saw 2 red caught before I left. Both in the low 20 inch range. I headed back now. I'll update .

No reds that i saw. I used live croaker and live mullet, not even a nibble. Some whiting on the surf side. Not much else . In the channel managed a couple 7-8inch mangroves(tossed them back) and there was a small school of mullet getting beat up by a few Spanish Mackerel. Ladies next to me caught 1 and a lot more whiting than I did. They had live shrimp. And red tide is in but not too bad.

Thanks for the report! Red tide side effects seem to be an issue over there? Fish kill or anything else?
