Well, I suppose every dog has its day. Went down the beach about lunchtime yesterday with the wife to grill some burgers and maybe toss a bait or two. Knowing the storm was coming...and kinda wanting to just be on the beach during a storm.

Yep-this is married fishing. Laughing

And yep-this one lone redfish had an interest for some cut hardhead. That holographic shiny hardhead skin musta clinched the knot, cause he hit it like a rocket! Shocked Gotta love the hardhead baits!

And that was dinner.

But not for everyone.

And as we left, the storm hit. Musta dumped 4 inches of rain in an hour down there!

Ya'll take care. We'll see what this latest cold front and rain storm does with the fishing. Tight lines.

Thanks for the report and, as always, the great pictures.
I had no idea that hardheads could be used for cut bait.....

Yes, we caught trout on cut hardhead in Yarborough when we ran out of finger mullet on a long wade.

I always appreciate your posts/pics towboat. I think I saw you this afternoon hitting the beach when I was coming off it. Wind and current really picked up at around 11 this morning.
