I went to Roy's last Sunday and was in awe of the Jackson Kayaks on display. I spent some time with one of the salespeople, and left considering a new Jackson... I called my fishing buddy to tell home what I found. He told me, " Dude, you don't need another kayak... You need a new 4x4 "

He was so correct. I have an Ocean Kayak Drifter and a Frenzy already. I thanked him for correcting me and not spending the 2k on the new Jackson.

By Wednesday, I thought about the features on the Jackson that I liked, as in the seat, the flush mount Rod holders etc.

I called Wind and Wave and took the Drifter which I purchased in 1997 over, and they installed four new handles, two flush mount Rod holders, and I got a nice seat.

The work they did was fabulous, and affordable. The sales person also commented that I should be able to get another 20 years out of my old Drifter !

Now I just gotta find a new 4x4, or maybe ressurect an older one, as your truck is really your number one piece of fishing Tackle !

LOL Yeah! I need a bigger 4x4. The four banger jeep won't cut it on a long trip down south.
