Trolling BYB on clam days for Kings at 3 mph (GPS) is that to slow? ... to fast?

When trolling meat I'd say 1-2mph or idle on calm days. slooooow. usually that's not the norm for Corpus then you can bump up to 3 on bumpy days. if trolling small lures same 1-3mph and if trolling larger lures bump it up to 5-6mph. lot of factors you have to look at like currents, wind and wave ect ect ect. my 2 cents.

A consistent King bite for us was along the edge past the end of the South Port A Jetty trolling ribbon fish.
